“Praise is What We Do!”
“Let them praise is name in the dance: Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints.
Praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 149:3,6-9
We are anointed to bless God in the dance. It is through the leading of the Holy Spirit that we are able to minister as we war in the Spirit with our hands and feet. Each movement of our dance renders total praise unto the Lord, creating an atmosphere for worship.
This ministry may be a new experience in churches of today. However, in King David’s time, it was an integral part of the service. As we all know, he danced before the Lord with abandonment. Psalms 100:4 states, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and in to His court with praise, for God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). Each of us is a spirit that has a soul and lives in a body. Therefore, we cannot keep the body from expressing the excitement of being in the presence of God. As we feel the manifestation of God’s anointing, the body responds to it with movement because it is difficult to contain the holy anointing of God when He chooses to overwhelm us with His presence.
It is time that we take our place in the army of God. God wants to reveal His glory to the earth through us. We are God’s hands to heal, to war, and to work! We are His feet to carry the gospel, to dance in celebration, to dance in travail, and to dance in warfare! We are His mouth to praise, to worship, to intercede, and to declare God’s good news! We are His ears to hear, His eyes to see, and His heartbeat on earth! Our misery prepares us for ministry! For, faith works by love, and lover never fails…it conquers ALL!!
God Bless!
